This authorisation is valid for five years and allows you to work from the moment the application is submitted.
Independent Residence for Individuals Who Have or Have Had Family Ties with Spanish Nationals
If any of the situations established by law apply, you may request an independent residence authorisation (or a modification of your current status) within six months from the event that causes the termination of your status as a family member of a Spanish national.
